Harley Shaiken Harley Shaiken is a Professor in the Graduate School of Education and the Department of Geography at UC Berkeley where he specializes on issues of work, technology, and global production. He is the Chair of the Center for Latin American Studies.

Beatriz Manz

Beatriz Manz is a Professor of Geography and Comparative Ethnic Studies (Emerita) at UC Berkeley. The focus of her research is contemporary Mayan communities in Guatemala. She has been involved with several international, and US-based non-governmental institutions, such as the UNHCR, UNDP, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Oxfam, Center for Justice and Accountability.
